Do I have to pay extra postage for more than 1 belt?
 
NO, it doesnít matter how many belts you purchase, the postage, packing and handling rate remains the same: FREE for the UK, £2.95 EU, £6.95 the rest of the world. Please note, we now offer a next day delivery service.

 
 

When will my belt be delivered?
 
Within 2-3 working days after the original purchase date for UK customers and 10 working days for the rest of the world. Please contact us if it is not with you within 7 days for UK and 12 working days for the rest of the world. We aim to dispatch the same working day or the next day where possible. At Christmas and other busy periods it is possible for first class mail to be held up by a few days, this very much depends on the postal sorting systems in your particular area. If you live outside of the European Union your parcel will be with you within 10 - 15 business days.

 
 

Can I place my order over the phone?
 
No, sorry. We only take payment via Paypal on the website for security reasons.  
 

Delivering to Canada
 
Deliveries within Canada may take up to 12 working days. This is due to the very rigid customs laws applied by the Canadian authorities. We would ask all of our Canadian customers to wait up to 14 working days before contacting us. If your order was over the value of £45 we will be able to issue you with a tracking number.  
 

My parcel has not arrived
 
Your order should be within you within 3-5 days if you live within the UK or Europe. Please contact us within 8 days from the date your order was marked as 'dispatched'. You can check this by logging into your account. Your order should be with you within 10-15 working days if you live outside of Europe. Please contact us within 21 days from the date your order was marked as 'dispatched'.

 
 
 

Billing and shipping address information
 
For security reasons we may request further information for orders where the shipping and billing address are different if the name and email address do not meet our usual standard security checks. For International orders we will only despatch to the billing address.  
 

I am not from the UK, how do I work out the amount I am paying for my belt?
 
If you look to the top of the home page you will see a currency conversion button which lists prices in US Dollars and Euros. Please note that any prices shown in Euros or Dollars are as a rough guide. For an accurate currency conversion please visit www.xe.com. As we are a UK based company all orders will be processed in Pounds Sterling. Our prices do not equal the same amount in your local currency. Please take the time to check the prices before ordering.  
 

Will I need to pay a customs charge if I am not from the UK
 
If you are from an EU country you will not need to pay a customs charge. If you don't live within the EU you may need to pay a charge. This will depend upon the customs within your particular country. Please note: We have absolutely NO control over these charges or the time you will be waiting for your parcel once it enters customs in your country. You may want to check these charges before committing to a purchase from the UK.

 
 

What do I do if I receive the wrong belt?
 
Simply contact us heading your message 'Wrong Item' leave your name and order number and a member of the returns team will contact you via email within 3 business hours.

 
 

Returns - What if I find the belt I ordered doesnít fit or I just donít like it?
 
Terms For Credit Codes - You must notify us of any unwanted items within 48 hours of delivery (credit codes are valid for 12 months from the date of issue). Returns must be sent back within 7 days or 14 if non UK resident. Please send to the address on our 'Contact' page. Once we receive the returned belt we will add a credit code to your account(unless a straight exchange for a different size is required) to the value of the item. Please Note: Postage and packing is non refundable. If you do not receive your credit code within 3 days of the return please contact us via the form on your contact page. Belts returned outside of the timescale listed will be sent back to you. We strongly recommend that you retain proof of postage on returned items as we cannot be held responsible for belts lost in the post. If in the rare circumstance that this should happen we will ask you to send us a copy of your proof of postage certificate or recorded delivery slip. Replacements are sent within 5 working days (after the returned item has been processed.)

 
 

How do I use my credit code?
 
Simply order the items as usual and enter the code at the checkout.

 
 

Can I have a refund to my card instead?
 
Yes you can. Items must be returned via 'Special Delivery' or 'Recorded Delivery' (Please note: we are not responsible for items lost in the post, we strongly recommend you retain proof of postage for at least 14 days) within 7 days of delivery and you must inform us of your intention to return and reason for your return ie; too small, too big, not what you expected etc. within 2 days of delivery quoting your order number. This infromation should be sent via the contact form on this website. Failure to follow this procedure may result in your return becoming lost in the system. If you choose not to send your return by a signed for delivery method you will be responsible for any lost items and will need to take your claim up with the Royal Mail personally by requesting a P58 form. Refunds will be made within 30 days providing you are from the UK. We do not accept refunds from International customers (credit codes only if you live outside of the United Kingdom).Please note: The cost of the postage on the original purchase & the cost of postage to return the unwanted item will not be refunded.

 
 

If an item is unwanted then the item as a whole and in its original state will need to be returned. Please pack all items in the same way you received them. Items lost in the post worn or damaged in any way or in an unfit condition for resale or sent back after the required time will not be refunded, they will be returned to you and will cease to be the responsibility of The Latest Thing.  
Please Note: We do not refund any vintage stock. Any wear should be seen as part of the belts character. The condition will be mentioned in the listing on the site.

 
 

What if I change my mind after I have placed the order?
 
If you place an order and change your mind please email us within 4 hours and we will cancel your order. We are unable to cancel orders that have already been marked as awaiting despatch/despatched.

 
 

What if the belt I ordered is out of stock?
 
You will be notified via email and your card will not be debited until the item is in stock. Generally all items not in stock are marked 'out of stock' and you would be unable to purchase from the site.  
 

Is it safe to pay on my credit card?
 
We now use Paypal to process your credit card payments. Your details are taken through a secure page and processed on the day of order. You will notice the https (s for secure) in the address bar as well as a small padlock indicating it is safe to pay. You will be notified immediately if your payment fails. You can also pay via your own paypal account should you have one.
